This season, excellence met opportunity as two of our outstanding Academy Charter School scholar-athletes made history by earning Division I and II athletic scholarships! Myles Brown has officially made history as the first-ever Academy Charter School athlete to sign with a Division I swimming program! Myles will be attending Manhattan College, where he’ll compete at the highest collegiate level as part of their elite swimming and diving team.
Alex Byfield, another remarkable athlete, was awarded a Division II lacrosse scholarship to Dominican University. His dedication to the sport, academic strength, and team spirit have earned him this incredible opportunity to continue growing on the field and in the classroom.
These young men are proof that with passion, focus, and support, Academy scholars can go anywhere. They’ve set the bar and opened doors for the next generation of student-athletes.
