Chef Toba Garrett Masterclass

On May 12th, Toba Garrett, a globally acclaimed, award-winning pastry chef and author, demonstrated a delicacy from her new book to culinary arts students at the Academy Charter School’s Uniondale CTE High School. Garrett earned degrees from Fordham University, Long Island University, and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris before proceeding on to teach at The New School and the French Culinary Institute. She has also written a number of cookbooks, including “The Well-Decorated Cake,” “Professional Cake Decorating,” “Creative Cookies,” “Wedding Cake Art and Design,” and, most recently, Master Class.
