The Academy Charter School – Hempstead’s LES scholars were invited to the Toys for Tots kickoff. One hundred of our scholars and their teachers attended the event at the Coral House. They were treated to a delicious lunch, and met racecar drivers, and elected officials. Most of all they met Santa Claus and received a gift. The children had an amazing time!
