Innovation took flight at The Academy Charter School – Wyandanch Upper Elementary, where scholars in the LEGO Spike Essentials class brought engineering concepts to life by designing and building their own helicopters. Through hands-on learning, scholars explored the fundamentals of STEM, combining creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to transform simple materials into dynamic creations. Each project reflected not only technical skill, but also imagination and perseverance.
