Congratulations to Sheyelle Jenkins, a CTE Culinary Arts scholar at the Academy Charter High School – Uniondale!
Sheyelle was recognized as the 1st place winner for the National Restaurant Association’s Annual ProStart Gingerbread House Decorating Competition! This is a huge accomplishment for our aspiring pastry chef whose work was judged by a panel of judges which consisted of nationally renowned food and media professionals. Sheyelle is hoping to travel along with her peers on our upcoming Europe Trip to visit a culinary arts school in Paris to meet a Parisian pâtissière.
