The Academy Charter School Boys Varsity Swim Team under the leadership of Taenika Sands, has made great strides in their first season. These young men are A+ scholar-athletes that County officials have dubbed the “small but mighty” team. Our team is comprised of 4 students and every swim meet they went and showed the other team who they are. We hope to continue to grow the team.
In our inaugural season, freshman Myles Brown qualified for the All-County swim meet, representing Academy Charter School in the 50 Freestyle. Myles epitomizes commitment and dedication to his education as well as swimming. We are looking forward to the greatness that Myles and all the boys will achieve.
