The Academy Believes in Helping Kids Build Skills for Life. SEL Day is designed to showcase, promote, advocate for and support social emotional learning in schools. The Academy believes social-emotional learning helps scholars manage emotions, set goals, and build positive relationships. The Academy Charter Hempstead LES engaged scholars in various activities centered around SEL.
The Vocabulary Parade is part of the Academy’s dedication to increase word recognition among our scholars.
