Since its founding, the Academy Charter School has been a beacon of education, growth, and community. The Academy’s history is filled with milestones and achievements that have shaped who we are today.
Our Philosophy:
Core Mastery, Character Development, and Community Awareness. Our school will improve student academic achievement by focusing on three important areas of our children’s growth that will enable them to be empowered adults: mastery of academic subjects, an intensive focus on character development, and fostering a lifelong behavior of giving back to their community.

What We Offer
The Academy Charter School offers an exceptional interdisciplinary curriculum in a technology-rich environment that challenges students to explore connections across subjects and use experiential learning to bridge the gaps between theory and practice.
2009 - How We Started
Elementary school opened with grades K-2 at 94 Fulton. When the school was opened in September 2009, the location was at a leased space located at 94 Fulton Ave. The space at the time housed grades K-3. As we embarked on the construction project for the high school.
