OVERVIEW

Grade 9: Exploratory Course: Exploring Medical Science
Grade 10: Medical Assisting I: Medical Terminology
Grade 11: Medical Assisting II: Medical Coding |EMT Training I
Grade 12: Medical Assisting III: Lab Technology (CPR & EMT Training II)
Program Requirements: Yearly Capstone Projects & Participation in CTE|STEM Symposium
CTE Certification Exams: NHA: Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA), NHA: Medical Administrative Assistant, NHA: Clinical Medical Assistant EKG or Phlebotomy, and NREMT certifications
Work-based Learning Requirements: 108 Internship Hours
